The Billboard WU LYF (World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation) will release their debut album, Go Tell Fire To The Mountain on 17th June 2011.
The four WU LYF band members – Ellery Roberts (vocals, organ), Tom McClung (bass), Joseph Manning (drums) and Evans Kati (guitar) – recorded the album in St Peter’s Church, a disused church in the Ancoats area of Manchester. Setting up on the middle of the huge, Venetian-style building, the band played every day, day and night, for three weeks to capture the raw, live sound of this self-produced record, before taking it to Glasgow to be mixed by Paul Savage. The result is 10 tracks of huge, uncompromising "Heavy Pop".
