The Billboard Lovelectric (pronounced "luv-electric" for those unsure) was originally formed under the name "The Doug Rockwell Band" in 2010 by Doug Rockwell (former front man of bands such as Someday Never & briefly for Victory Records' Driver Side Impact), including Jordan Sciabica, Frank Coppola, Andrew Geringer & Jared Leibowitz. They have toured the country, had music featured on radio, TV commercials, major TV shows such as The Voice and Auction Kings, Sony PlayStation, and in music stores across the globe. In 2011, Doug got the attention of Grammy winner Bill Grainer (Jennifer Hudson), and teamed up to write for up and coming artists in the UK, US & Europe. In November of 2012, he signed a management/publishing deal with BIG Management (David Guetta/Chris Willis/Randy Jackson) as a writer and artist. With their recent name change (and slight lineup change as well), Lovelectric has been making quite an impression over the past 2 years as being a band that brings a breath of fresh air to what music has evolved into today. They have received a large amount of recognition for their ballad version of Bruno Mars' hit song "Locked Out Of Heaven" (including a "thumbs up" from "The Brunz" himself). Their official debut EP "An Ovation For Innovation" is due for release January 1st, 2013.
