The Billboard - tyler and dave have been in multiple hardcore and pop punk bands together since they were 13 years old in delaware. billy and andy from doylestown ohio were you in a band together, and tom from buffalo NY was the drummer of cute is what we aim for from 2005-2009
- dave has hardcore tourettes-he constantly, and completely randomly, plays air-drums with double bass to hardcore songs or makes hardcore drums to any pop song playing
- the band is the first band to sign to drive-thru records (new found glory, hellogoobye, senses fail, the starting line) since the label took a 4 year hiatus. co-owners richard reines and stefanie reines loved the music and said it reminded them of the bands they used to love and sign, so they decided to manage the band. The band, who grew up on drive-thru records, convinced richard & stefanie to release their music. it's a joint venture deal, not a typical record deal, and it's only for one release at a time. "We're all drive thru fans and we approached them and said it would be a real honor and a dream come true to release our first release on the label"
- the band just completed their debut ep and had no tour dates booked, so they volunteered at catering for warped tour 2012 where they get to see some of their favorite bands every night, and pass out promo materials about their own band. it's a huge change for tom who played warped tour's main stage in 2007 and is now starting from square one with a brand new band. Tom says "i knew what i was getting into. i get a clean slate and I get to start over on drive thru. Fuck yeah"
what's next for the stellar life? touring and more touring. plus they already have half of their full length written and and ready to record.
