The AP.net Staff
Thomas has his hands in all portions of the site (posting news, writing album reviews, organizing features), but his main focus is on our big picture content pieces. Long form articles, sponsorships, and content planning is his specialty.
As senior editor Drew oversees most content posted on the website. He's in charge of posting news, watching over features on the site, writing album reviews, and being a jack of all trades.
Gregory is a senior album reviewer who enjoys writing about country, singer-songwriter, roots-rock, alt-country, indie-rock, and radio pop. He also writes show reviews (with the occasional interview) and acts as an editor for other writers.
Craig loves writing album reviews and he'll tackle just about any genre. He also helps oversee a lot of the backend that goes into keeping the review section thriving. And, of course, he also contributes legendary longer form articles and features to the site.
Chris is a very prolific reviewer on the site who also helps copy-edit and maintain our review database. He can also be found posting news and contributing long form articles and features on occasion. He loves indie music but also tackles alt-country/folk, electronic, metal and hip-hop artists.
Blake writes album reviews (usually) within the pop-punk/punk/indie spectrum.
Jake focuses on reviewing mostly hip-hop, electronic, and metal music. He also is very active in the forums and helps with copy-editing our content.
Contributing Reviewer & Photog
Ryan contributes album and show reviews to the site. He focuses on pop, indie, hardcore, punk rock, and pop-punk. He's also one of our resident photographers and posts the occasional news item or band feature.
Sean is an album reviewer who loves post-rock, ambient, experimental rock, indie rock, indie pop, and a little post-hardcore. He also helps with interviews and copy-editing.
Ryan tackles album reviews within the hip-hop, pop, and dance genres. He also contributes to some longer form articles on the site and is a constant presence in our forums. Behind the scenes he helps keep our review section organized and updated while putting together larger features.
Steve writes album reviews and prefers indie and heavier music. He also helps with editing and does the occasional interview.
Kelly writes album reviews with a focus in indie, emo, pop-punk, hardcore, post-hardcore, and folk. She also contributes longer form articles to the website and runs band features on a regular basis.
Contributing Reviewer & Editor
Zac writes album reviews and enjoys emo, post-hardcore, pop-punk, indie, and basically all alternative music. He also helps keep our review section organized, posts some news, and helps run features and exclusives.

Deborah helps oversee and set up all of our interviews and Q&A's on the website.

Contributing Interviewer & Film Reviewer
Jonathan contributes interviewers and film reviews to the website.
Alex dabbles in a little bit of everything, but focuses on contributing news and setting up exclusives and features on the website. He also writes live reviews, produces photo and video content, and writes the occasional album review or interview.
Keagan is one of our main news posters on the website. He handles news features, posts, exclusives, and making sure you're always updated on the latest happenings in the music world.
Joe posts news on the website within his favorite genres of pop, pop, a little more pop, and then some pop-punk. He also works on setting up features and exclusives.
Kyle helps keep our news up-to-date from across the pond. He also writes the occasional review, works on putting together features, and enjoys reviewing lives shows.
Contributing Editor & Senior Photog
Anthony takes photos and oversees our gallery and photographers. He also manages a variety of our features while editing, approving, and helping promote our user reviews.
Semi-Retired Album Reviewer
Scott has been writing album reviews on the website for what seems like forever. These days he contributes reviews (usually within the punk genre) when time allows.
Paul helps around the site when he has time -- mostly focusing on promotions, sponsorships, artist and label profiles, contests, and some news posting.
Semi-Retired News Poster
Andy focuses mostly on posting band spotlights, setting up features, and posting primarily UK related news.
Linda was the longtime mail overlord for AP.net. As we've moved to a mostly digital world, Linda has retired her role on the website -- she still lurks and helps with minor editing (mostly of Jason's horrific spelling and grammar).
For many years Garett was in charge of running our exclusives. He will still occasionally post some news or feature on the website, but he has since retired to other projects on the internet.
Christian was a long time news and exclusive posting extraordinaire. His current "real-life" job keeps him super-busy, but he still shows up to post the occasional news item every now and again.
Caitlin focuses mostly on album reviews and has a passion for the punk genre.
Founder of Chorus, LLC; Founder and CEO of AbsolutePunk.net
As the founder and editor-in-chief of the site, Jason still handles most of the day-to-day operations around the website on the front and backend. That includes: news, reviews, exclusives, promotions, podcasts, sponsorships, and just about everything else.
