Main User Control Panel Page
Your user control panel should be your one stop shop for everything related to "you" on AP.net. The more you use the website the more relevant the information available to you in your UserCP will be.

When viewing your user control panel (which can be viewed at any time by clicking your username in the upper right hand corner of the website), you will first be presented with three columns. On the left column is a variety of links for editing your options around the website. In the middle is your latest forum activity. This shows all of the threads you have recently posted in and allows you to check for new activity and respond as desired. On the far right you will find your "notifications" area. This section lets you know about new additions to particular portions of the website since your last visit.

My Account (Editing Options)

My Friends
When you are browsing the website you will see links to add members as your "friends." Clicking "Friend" in the pop-down menu on their username, or clicking "Add as Friend" on their profile, will allow you to mark that user as your friend. If they are your friend they will appear on your profile under "friends." You will also be notified of new blogs your friends post and album reviews they write (in your UserCP under notifications).

Our system works differently than other "friend" systems. When you add someone as a friend - they will be notified in their message system that you have added them as a friend. They can then decide to add you as a friend or not. Either way that person will be added to your "friend" list. We do it this way for a variety of reasons. One, to give people more control over the privacy of their profile. Two, because some people want to be be "friends" with a person because then they will get notified of new reviews or blog updates, etc., and this acts as a "following" feature as well.

How do I add pictures to my profile?
If you would like to change your main profile picture, go here. If you would like to add pictures to your image gallery - you can do so here.

My Reminders
Your reminders are different release dates you have clicked "remind me" on. You will be notified via email when that release date is coming up.

My Subscriptions

Your notifications display information that has occurred since you last visited the website. You may see new private messages, updates to your subscribed threads, birthdays, new exclusives on the website, new responses to your posts, new comments on your blog, pictures, or wall, or a variety of other things. These notifications make sure you're always up to date on things happening around you.

How To Disable My Account
For legal reasons we currently do not have an option to completely delete your account from the website. While we explore alternatives, we have provided you a few ways to effectively disable your account from viewing.
  • Set your privacy options to hide your profile.
    • Mark yourself invisible.
    • Mark your profile to one of the "private." options
    • Uncheck both "recieve email" boxes.
    • Uncheck all "private message" boxes.
    • Move your subscriptions to "no email notifications."
