Show Review: Paramore/New Found Glory/Relient K/Kadawatha

With alumni like Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, and Dashboard Confessional, Paramore has some big shoes to fill by headlinging the Honda Civic Tour this summer. Raising the stakes even more is the fact that last year's incarnation of tour was canceled. With support from New Found Glory, Teagan and Sara (on most dates), and newcomers Kadawatha, the tour has a little something for everyone. I caught a show early on in the tour on July 28th in Mansfield, MA.



Kadawatha kicked off the night with a five-song set. The band was originally formed as a solo project by Sri Lankian Daniel Kadawatha in 2008 before rounding up some of his Swedish brethren to fill out the band. The tour...[read more]

Haha, reasonable reaction. I didn't dislike it; I just never really got into anything after Mmhmm, so I was hoping to hear some material from before that. Their performance, however, was not disappointing at all.

Sorry for being hostile. I'm just furiously jealous that you got to witness that set, which I consider pretty perfect for an opening set... I'm just bitter because they haven't come to my neck of the woods since FANSD came out and I NEEEEED to see those songs live.

No worries. I certainly lucked out seeing them at all, so I shouldn't complain. Seems to be similar to their setlists as of late, so next time they come through your way you should be able to catch most of them!

with you on the setlist. I don't care for it. I can't get into the more piano oriented stuff. I like me some Mmhmm and earlier RK.

I hate Devastation and Reform, I think it's one of the worst Relient K songs, if not the worst.

Bummer Tegan and Sara didn't play, they were great in philly. The crowd was fucking crazy, people passing out every few minutes
