Great review, dude - only wish you could have hit up all the days.

That said, how do you feel about KSE ending with a cover? Granted, it was a hit for them, but it seems a bit odd considering the size of their catalog.

I don't know how he does it, but Jesse always keeps Adam in check. Even with ToG, Adam didn't wear any goofy outfits that he's known for. Yes he's got the shirt tuxedo on but it's very low key. Not as extravagant as Adam's other costumes including the cape or the inflatable woman.

Great review man. The last paragraph is spot on. I hope I can make it out to the festival some time.

It's hard to watch their live DVD because of that Dracula-esque cape thing.

I went to 2/3 days of the festival and it was great. I too though that Killswitch would do all of Alive or Just Breathing seeing as it was the 10-year anniversary, but it was a fantastic show nonetheless. Almost every band on the second stage was absolutely insane. Bane, Cruel Hand, STYG, The Greenery. When bands like that are in such a small space, mayhem ensues.

I have never seen that, but this was pretty much my reaction:

Right? I would be terrified if I accidentally bumped my cart into Jesse's cart if we were shopping somewhere.

Hell, I'd be scared of his beard alone.

(never met the guy, but I'm sure he's nice. hahaha)

I thought it was kind of a strange choice. I love the cover, but I would have preferred if they started the encore with it and then ended with "My Last Serenade." Small complaint though.
