Seattle is definitely one of my favorite cities. I'm not a huge fan of UW though, but that probably has to do with the fact that I go to WSU haha. On the other hand, the campus is beautiful and I have quite a few friends from high school that go there and love it.
My sister is going to UO next fall and she really liked Eugene and the campus, but I don't really remember it that well when I had visited.

Your comments did help! I've heard only good things about both areas and schools, but I'm leaning towards Udub right now. The fact that you can say anything good about Udub while going to WSU is impressive in itself. I went to ASU for just one year and I can still never say a good thing about U of Arizona.
