The Best Road Trip Playlist Ever
The Best Road Trip Playlist Ever
07/28/09 at 11:19 AM by Schreiforme417
So, i leave for Montana on Friday. It is a 2200 mile trip, and i'll be making some stops to see family and that lovely girl i call my girlfriend. for those times that i'm on the road, though, i'm going to need companionship, ie. the greatest road trip playlist of all time. This is where you, loyal readers, come in. I need help.

Tell me the songs I need to put on my road trip playlist. keep the theme to movin on, the road, travel, shit like that. I've got some songs already but I want to hear what everyone says.

Please.

Thanks.

Sam.

whenever i go on a road trip i find that pop-punk is essential. its a five hour trip from home to college and a lot of it is two lanes and trees, so you need music to keep you awake.

try the new set your goals album. new found glory are also a favorite of mine for trips.

in addition, ska music gets your blood flowing. reel big fish, LTJ, big D, etc etc.

just stay away from slow/indie/aesthetic stuff unless youre extremely well rested.

and throw in a stand-up comedy routine in there too.

Definitely can't go wrong with the new Set Your Goals!! Also new New Found Glory is good. I'm on a Blink/NFG/Set Your Goals/Four Year Strong kick right now. Thank goodness for good music.

Kings of Leon is a good roadtrip band, so is Cartel, Jack's Mannequin, and ATL.

I personally think Falco's "Rock Me Amadeus" is one of the best road trip songs of ALL time
