...or one last album would be good too. Okay, I get it. Bad, bad pun. Okay. No more. Anyway, this week has been hard for music enthusiasts everywhere. This week began with the solemn announcement from Thrice. Now Thursday announced their hiatus the day after.
The first Thursday song I ever heard was "Jet Black New Year" when I was probably seven, in our basement in my brother's room. I asked what his favorite song was and he turned on "Jet Black New Year". "It's about a kid falling out a window on New Year's Day," he explained when I asked about the title. Years later, my sister was putting music on my iPod. She had Kill the House Lights and asked if I wanted it. Before I could answer she did.
