Totally agree -- The Wonder Years, The Ghost Inside, and Set Your Goals are all examples of bands that i've downloaded leaks from, loved it, and haven't missed a show from in several years and have spent hundreds of dollars on each time.

Set Your Goals gave AP.net a shoutout last week in Portland -- thought that was pretty cool.

I can't even fathom the idea of not being able to see a band like The Ghost Inside or Terror every single time they come through; Alot of people say "Oh, i've seen them plenty of times before" and don't go -- Last time I checked, i've eaten Pizza plenty of times before and still remains as awesome, and I eagerly look forward to the next time I get to eat a few slices.

That was wonderful.

Yeah, I'll never understand the people who say "I've seen this band 3 times, I'm not paying $15 to go see them again". And it's like, if the band has declined or you don't like their current album, that's cool, whatever. But if you're still downloading their new shit and jamming it and digging it, but you won't pony up the $15 to go see a REAL performance, that's wack.

I will continue to go see whoever comes through my city. There's just nothing quite like a live performance.

On average, I've gone to see Saves The Day around 20 times a year for about the last two years. Before I was into traveling, I still saw them whenever they'd come anywhere close. People who don't go to see their favorite bands live are weird to me.
