Just saw this and I agree with this statement: "I love bringing new music to our readers, because music lovers know no genres--they only know music." I've always felt like the oddball who likes everything from Propagandhi and Hepcat to Souls of Mischief. Music is music, and if it's good, you'll know it.
I gotta say, I almost think this site covers more indie than pop-punk. Or maybe I just assume any band I don't know is indie :P Jason Tate was talking about making separate sister sites based on genre, which I definitely wouldn't mind.
Damn straight. I don't like any pop punk bands. Not even Blink 182. I don't even remember how I found this site but I have found a mountain of bands here that I wouldn't know otherwise, and this is pretty much the only site I use to find music. Fuck, sometimes I have to even stop myself from reading the homepage because I get so overloaded with new music that I just can't absorb it all.
