Gaslight Anthem/Frank Turner Interview Update

So on Thursday, I went over to the Garrick to interview Frank Turner and also, Benny Horowitz from the Gaslight Anthem. Expect both to be posted in 2 weeks at the latest, school is very busy, so I don't have as much time to transcribe things as quickly as I used to. I think both went well though. The Gaslight Anthem interview was originally supposed to only last for 15 minutes, but Benny spent an extra 10 minutes talking with me so most things could be covered. And Frank Turner is a very interesting guy, if you still don't have any of his records I suggest you get on that right now.

But anyway, the show was pretty good. Too lazy to give some big, huge review. I didn't care for Murder by Death's set, but I loved both Frank Turner and the Loved Ones. I noticed some people were...[read more]

Haha! My friend said the exact same thing! I don't know, I can respect their music, but it just isn't in my taste...

Great encores i've seen them play 3 times and they haven't played 1930 which is a great song.

Shame they didn't play 'Angry Johnny..' cause when he breaks into 'what becomes of the broken hearted' its always incredible.

no Murder by Death love??? this saddens me...one of the best live bands I think and I love their music...but to each their own...can't wait to read the interviews!
