i waited for years to see them too. saw them with thrice a few years ago and thrice was amazing as always. i was really excited for brand new...and they put on one of the worst live shows i've ever seen. vocals were terrible, consitently off key and just bad. jesse was acting and talking to the crowd like a complete ass hole and i wanted to leave multiple times. i stayed through the whole set, just hoping they would turn it around. this did not change how i feel about the band's music, as i still love their albums...however i have no desire to see them again live, ever.

Sorry to hear that your experience wasn't as positive. I was wondering if they'd pull something like that at my show, but they definitely didn't, which I'm thankful for.

yeah, oh well. glad to see you had a good experience. i'm sure i'll change my mind and give them another shot someday. they are one of my favorites after all.

I saw them once in '05 I believe and I feel like by the time I get to see them again I'll have waited as long. Still, great review!

Awesome review for an awesome show.Surprised that someone up above said that Jesse's vocals were off when they saw them. He sounded nothing short of amazing at this show. But I guess everyone has their off days.
