Band of the Year

1. Paramore

Explanation
They went from selling out clubs to selling out arenas in a span of like 6 months. I don't care who you are, that's a huge accomplishment. They care about what they do and they deserve everything they've got this year.

In Our Memories

I wrote this whole list back at the beginning of Nov. preparing for the end of the year figuring, hey, it's only a month left, no one's died, no one's gonna die, it's all good. I wrote in this section "no one's really died"…well it seems November decided to prove me wrong. So here it goes:
1. Casey Calvert-Hawthorne Heights (age 25)
2. Pat Mason-Arsonists Get All The Girls (age 21 –his birthday-)
3. Kevin Dubrow-Quiet Riot
4. And more…
Hearing that Casey and Pat died was a huge shock to me. They were so close together, right after thanksgiving, so young, and both completely unexplainable. It's just really sad to hear about people like that, even if they were in bands that I never liked. R.I.P.
