|Dear friends, readers, haters and looker by's.|
Today I have never laughed so hard (in good fun) at the following:
Now, I took this in no way as offensive, but it got me thinking, who the hell is Adam Pfleider?
This is me. This is the journal that, in a year and half, has grown from something Adrian had suggested after submitting some user reviews.
As for my background, if you hadn't already known, I ran my own radio show for Louisiana State University's radio station, KLSU, for four years called the C.C.E., which stands for Creative, Chaotic, Energy. Currently I'm working on a book by the same name about the most influential records from that show. I hope to have it out sometime next year. It's half done.
As for my writing, I wrote for The Daily Reveille for a semester and a half. I learned a lot. I began networking, and one of the first interviews I ever had was with Kenny Vasoli of The Starting Line. After realizing that newsprint was not my thing, I moved on.
I began this blog, did some interviews for High Beam Review, and started to freelance for AMP Magazine, for which I currently still write for, and you can expect interviews from Dredg, August Burns Red and The Dear Hunter in the near future from their website from me.
Now I am here. So what am I doing here? The first thing I asked myself my first week in Austin, moving out of the comfort zone of the same state, literally, for 22 years.
Well, first, I feel honored. Today I posted my third interview for the site with Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids, for which I had the pleasure of interviewing a second time. You can expect more for me in the future. I have some more reviews coming at you as well.
I want to say this, lately I've been feeling out of the loop, so please, feel free to send interview suggestions my way.
With this all being said, I want to let all you users in on the great things behind the scenes of what this site has to offer. There's a lot I learned today, I feel that I should share some of that with you, the people who keep this site running.
So please, even if it cost me my position, I want to show you the knowledge that's been hidden behind the curtain.
Beware, some of the insight may be too much to handle. If you dare, click here for said knowledge.
love and respect.
