1. I got accepted into Valencia College in Orlando. Woot! It's official now.
2. I received my ACT scores that I took. I took them on a whim, and really, I was doing it for personal reasons, not to get into a school. The cool thing is, I actually did really decent on them. I scored a 22, which is just TWO POINTS shy of what I would have needed to be directly accepted into UCF (I had the GPA, just not the testing scores). What IS cool is that the other school I applied to last year, UNF, I can get into that school with the scores I have! Too bad I'll be living in Orlando instead of Jacksonville. But oh well. It's just another sign that I'm supposed to be doing this.
I got a 28 on the English (yes, I do kick ass, thank you), 17 on the math (yes, I'm horrible at math), 23 on reading (respectable), and a 20 on the science portion. I literally guessed at every single science question, as I haven't had a science class in probably 4 years now. hahaha.
Anyway, encouraging day all around. :)
Just wish I didn't have to sleep alone at night.
Oh well. I'm sure that will change once I move. |
