Well! I had every expectation shattered by this show. I'm not keen on Silversun Pickups but they put on a great show and kept even a non-fan interested. Intermission came and went and when the TD Bank Garden lights dimmed everyone was in a frenzy. The woman next to me looked like she belonged on Rock of Love and acted the part as well. She instantly clung onto me and even attempted to pull my leg over her lap to show her husband my tattoo on my foot. She said she couldn't promise she wasn't going to throw my milky way. Before Muse even came on, 3 tall pillars that looked like buildings lit up and the fun began. The show was unlike any other I have ever been to. It was a mixture of a laser light show and a concert. At some point, eye ball balloons the size of several teens fell from the ceiling and when popped, sprayed confetti everywhere. I attempted to "out glitter" the lead singer by spraying a little in my hair but of course, he came on with silver glitter shoes. Damn you, Matt, damn you. The finale and encore together lasted at least 30 minutes. The lead vocalist, Matthew Bellamy (cute as a button), had a little too much fun with some of his toys. The night was full of endless guitar solos, strobe lights, and I definitely got a whiff of someone blazing. Two thumbs up!
[EDIT] my favorite album, hands down, is Absolution. Black Holes and Revelations and Resistance just don't do it for me. Of course, everyone went ga-ga (not the weirdo) over Supermassive Black Hole from the Twilight soundtrack. How many girls were there just because they had heard that song in the movie?
