Music, Processes, and End of the Year Lists 01/11/12 at 03:52 AM by imagination | I've really wanted to write about artists from the Absolute Female Singers thread for a long time. I did for a while, but with going to school, working a bunch, and personal stuff, I really haven't had time to listen to much of anything. At the moment, there are over 250 artists that I've compiled into a list. The majority can be found on Spotify, and you can check them out on some of the playlists here. I intend to write about each and every artist, whether they're my 'kind of thing' or not. Many of these singers are not covered on this site, but maybe these write-ups can give you an idea of their sound.
There are so many on this list that I have never heard of, but there are a few groups here that I have grown to love, those who I have listened to extensively throughout the years. I can't help but want to spend more time with those. With that said, I plan on writing longer write-ups for the bands that really helped influence and shape the bands that I listened to and still listen to today. Hopefully you'll read and enjoy the rambling narratives along with the blurbs I have been writing. You can expect to read some new stuff soon.
Since I kind of stopped writing for a while, here's my end-of-the-year-female-singers list. They're all really great.
