sooooo good.
honestly, up until the beginning of april, i hadnt really given their last album a chance, when i first heard it way back when, i instantly wrote it off, because it didnt sound like I Am Hollywood, but i decided to check it out again and i realized how good it really was.
they played last night at some shit ass vfw last night near where i live, with 5 other local bands, and it was pretty busy for a monday night. they also play as a 4 piece now, which kind of hurts the older songs, especially china white, because of the sweet harmonies in the bridge part, but they still sounded very tight.
i forget the exact order, but this was basically the set:
Dixie Wolf
New Song
The Seduction
Eating A Book
China White (replaced "And I dont understand...." bridge lyrics with Hurt lyrics by NIN, so good)
Another New Song
Attack of the Dungeon Witch
Everyone I Know Has Fangs (another new one, just the only one i know the name of)
the new songs sounded really great, they were a pretty nice blend of SOTP and IAH, leaning more towards SOTP.
the show ran a little late, and they werent able to play I Am Hollywood, which was unfortunate, but they still made the most of it and made the crowd really enjoy the show, telling jokes in between songs and stuff like that haha.
