| Graduation |
I had my second experience of gradation last week. I am now a qualified Geography teacher, and take up my position in a local school in August. I can't wait to begin earning a salary, although the work is going to be difficult!
Have moved back home this week and bought a new car too (crashed my last car whilst on my final placement), so it's all change in life for me at the moment and I couldn't be happier!
Now I just need some money so I can actually leave the house...

| A YEAR?! |
Almost a year since I last blogged. Never have that much to say so that's why I don't do it much. Followe me @jamieh_nufc instead.
This is the first time I've actively posted on AP in a few months due to work, but have a few days off best spent doing nothing but staying in bed late and posting on AP...and watching old episodes of Fresh Prince, as standard!

| Life |
So, just in time for me finishing all my classes, essays, presentations and interviews for the year and have 2 weeks off before my exam study begins...my shin splints return. And they are worse than ever before so I'm looking forward to spending the next few days in my bed :(
On slightly better news, should find out withing the next 5 days whether or not I'm going to be at uni next year or whether this current year is my last. Fingers crossed!
And to finish, I just updated my profile info. hadn't updated it in nearly 2 years! Fingers crossed I can update it again in a couple months and change 'smoker - yes' to 'smoker - no'. I'm trying. With very small success.

| I've Gone Bold! |
| It's been 5 years coming, but finally my name went bold this evening! Feel like I've achieved something with my day. More than I have with my studying. Also, I don't blog enough, going to try change that as I've got a tough couple of months coming up. | |

| My Top 10's of 2009 |
My top 10 Albums of 2009
1. Yeah Yeah Yeah's - It's Blitz
2. Biffy Clyro - Only Revolutions
3. Brand New - Daisy
4. The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die
5. The Horrors - Primary Colours
6. All Time Low - Nothing Personal
7. John Mayer - Battle Studies
8. Manchester Orchestra - Mean Everything To Nothing
9. Marmaduke Duke - Duke Pandemonium
10. P.O.S - Never Better
And my top 10 personal discoveries of the year in no order (I know there's some amazing bands here that I should have discovered before now, but I've been stubborn about listening to bands in other genres that have a more alternative appeal...or, in the case of the horrors, I saw play a terrible show live before hearing any of their studio material):
The Smiths
Brand New
The Horros
Jack's Mannequin (well turning into a full blown mega fan...)
Something Corporate
The Subways
Sons & Daughters
Elbow
The Gaslight Anthem
