i know it's been while since i have been on here. Almost been a year but there has been alot that has been happening throughout. But hopefully i will be on more than I was in the past months.
Anyway, I am hoping that with Bayside not being on a label that they choose something that doesn't get rid of their trademark sound. There are some really good fits out there like Epitaph and others. That's my thought that i have wondering about. Also, i am very excited for "This Addiction" by Alkaline Trio to come out Feb. 23. I have had mine pre-ordered for a while now. I would advise to get the CD version and not the iTunes version because with the CD you get a bonus DVD and some more songs that are not there when you just would get it on i tunes( and it's 3 dollars cheaper).
Just to start off, I really never have been a very religious person. I have always been one that has been extremely tolerant of other people's religion but I was never really one that was really enthralled in the actual religiouness . I was raised as a Catholic but let's just say we didn't really practice actively. I don't want to get into a whole family discussion.
Now I have always been the type that wants evidence to know it's true. I know this almost 100% describes what an agnostic is and I believe that is what I am. The thing is how I will tell my parents about it. My father is not the most religious and has taught me to be tolerant of all religions. And my step-mother, well she is pretty religious for the most part. I am just asking if there are any out there that have been in a similar predicament. I don't want to lie to myself that I follow Christianity, when I don't believe most of it.
I'm not going to be the guy that is prejudice just people follow a certain religion. I have many friends that follow that different religions and I have always treated them the same way. I know that I wasn't really sure of my religion at that but it won't change just because of The thing I hate, and I have noticed through TV and readings, that the people that are agnostic or atheistic are not given are not treated the same way as others, and most don't even understand their ideals. I know that I am rambling but in many ways my point is valid and real. It is something that will remain in our society unless people will treat everyone as an equal, which can never happen when people don't open their eyes and ears.
So today I read an article that one of my favorite bands, secret lives of the freemasons broke up. I'm really hoping that this isn't true. First Across Five Aprils Aprils in September and now SLF, if this is true. Obviously I am upset about this and hoping for the best. If it is true I hope that whatever future endeavors that they are succesful.
