The World We Know is probably my favorite album so far this year. It's so good! I urge you to buy it when it comes out. The whole album is so heartfelt and well written, mixed with beautiful melody lines. Been listening to it all day.
This tweet is by Brian Haner also known as Guitar Guy (you might recognize him from playing guitar with Jeff Dunham and Achmed the Dead Terrorist). He also happens to be the father of Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold).
I laughed.
These past few days I have been working on a presentation I have to do, about the music industry/business and how it's changing, and what we as musicians can do to survive the major changes, and still make a living doing what we love. I remembered a video i saw of Tom a few months ago, and I have to say I agree with most of what he's saying. I know here on AP.net when Blink-182 when on a hiatus a weird hatred against Tom occurred. But truth is, he's smart.

Rocco is a genious. They got signed to Kiefer Sutherlands indie label IronWorks in 2005. They released their first album, I Trust You To Kill Me, in 2006. They same year the band released a DVD with the same title as the album. This is a behind the scenes documentary following the band on tour in Europe. Kiefer Sutherland is also a part of the documentary. (seen launching himself to christmas trees). Rocco DeLuca & the Burden released their secord album March 2009, and it's called Mercy. This mans voice is something I have never heard before!
This is what the magazine Rolling Stones had to say about their debut album; "The echoes of Neil Young, Robert Plant, Jeff Buckley and Pearl Jam blend into something unique, especially when performed live. Using the Dobro steel guitar to cut deep on tracks such as “Soul,” “Dope” and the title song, the group packs the heat and rocks aggression to work its way into your head and stay there."

Ok, this is a local band where I come from. I used to play in a band with the vocalist and I've worked with the guitarist. They're all great people and they make awesome music.
It's tough, agressive, in your face, punk rock. They just released their first EP called "Five Inches Of A Car Accident". Check out this band if you like agressive, in your face music!
Recommended songs; Five Inches Of A Car Accident, Red Ruin (I participated on writing ths song), Natural Wastage.

This is not my kind of music at all. But when I heard this guy I was blown away! Go buy his album "The Last Resort" put it on your iPod and listen with good headphones.. This 3D electronica. It's so awesome. It feels like the sounds he's making physically pops out of you headphones and hit you in the ear. I can't really descibe it. If you appreciate good music, and good musicians, go listen.
Recommended songs; Miss You, While The Cold Winter Waiting, Take Me Into Your Skin, Evil Dub
