07/29/10 at 05:19 PM by ilovesofie

Check it yourselve, this is an incredible underrated punkrock/pop-punk band called LIPONA. Their debut was phenomenal, full of passion, great lyrics and sing-alongs, great melodies, and their EP is even better. They are working on a new album and I'm so stoked for it, spread the world about this crazy dudes!

Underrated Albums
05/03/10 at 02:36 PM by ilovesofie

Chaser - The Big Picture

One of the most honest records I've heard this year. It's punkrock like punkrock is meant to be and with a very soft production that I really love, it makes this album having an emotional touch. It has great lyrics about love and life and there a brilliant accoustic track on it. One of my favorites this year and an album that will get way too less attention. I love it, I suggest when you love Mute, Much The Same or Rise Against, to check this record out.

Anybody else is visiting this great festival?

Because of that Vulcano shit, Saves The Day & Sunny Day Real Estate won't make it. That's a shame because besides of The Swellers that's pretty much all that I'm intrested in that day.

But the second day is so great, here are my favorites:

Sum 41
Bad Religion
Bouncing Souls

Damn, I'm excited! Do you guys think this line-up is better than Warped Tour? Would you go? Tell me!

Pop-punk, getting older
02/22/10 at 11:39 AM by ilovesofie
Allright, I am 20 years old and I could say I listen intensively to music for six years. Everybody has a story, everybody has an album that he heard as a kid and because of that album you wannna listen to more music, you wanna explore that kind of genre, and without you noticing it, you've realised that music will be important to your life.
This is kinda cliché but the album that made me wanna listen to more is blink 182's "Enema Of The State". It was the soundtrack to an awesome summer and because of that album I always gonna love pop-punk and I learned about bands such as Saves The Day, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Relient K and that kinda stuff.
It's now six year later and a lot of my friends don't really listen to pop-punk anymore. No, they listen to electronic shit. I don't understand the kinda of music. Always that same beat, no lyrics (wich is essential when you talk about music I think), and they can only enjoy it when the volume is loud. I will never understand it.
Now, my musical taste is a little bit evolved during this past five years but no that incridible much. I can now appreciate The Smiths, I love Muse and I'm done with bands that sound like Escape The Fate or Aiden. And I think The Gaslight Anthem is best band who's currently making music. But overall, no, no that much has changed. I still listen to pop-punk and I still love Blink 182. And that kinda suprises me. Everybody I know who where in this kinda music five years ago all changed and I don't. Will I ever grow tired of pop-punk? Will I ever leaving this site cause the bands say nothing anymore to me? I highly doubt it.

Personal lyrics
12/16/09 at 04:16 PM by ilovesofie

i don't even know what the meaning of that thing is
some people call it love, i call it fantasy
it seems to be everlasting,
but the only time i thought i could feel it,
it left me

i feel alone without the sound of your voice
i feel hopeless without you to spend my days with
i feel alone knowing i can't count on you

i thought i heard you whispering forever
i thought i heard you talking about eternity
i thought i heard you laughing with me

you're not worth it anymore for me
i hope one day you wake up from this nightmare you call us
i hope one day you'll change it,
cause you're the only one able to do that

it's hard to hope without having something to hold on
it's not difficult to fall
it's not difficult to get up again
but it's hard to fall again

Jimmy Eat World
11/17/09 at 06:55 AM by ilovesofie
Damn, I'm in such a JEW-mood, I had to put it here. All of their records are freaking beautiful. I think the hardest question one could ask is to rank their albums. I'll try:

1. Bleed American
2. Futures
3. Chase This Light
4. Clarity

Oh God, Clarity ends op last and it's almost a perfect album. This really points out the greatness of this band. These are my favorites songs:

1. Hear You Me
2. Kill
3. Lucky Denver Mint
4. Big Casino
5. 23

I'm gonna check al their b-sides stuff today, siked!
