Anyways thats a brief look at what will most likely make my list.
I know...terrible title. But who reads this anyways?
Ok, so these are just a couple breif reviews on albums that I have been spinning lately. Here it goes.
The Graduate-Only Every Time
This album really took me by suprise. Let me begin by saying that up until recently that I was never a huge alt/rock/emo fan. But recenetly I have found my self enjoying the genere more and more. The Graduates latest album Only Every Time is one of those albums that just shows that this type of music is more than what I used to think of it. This album contains groovy musicianship, catchy choruses, and soaring hooks. This is an album that will be playing on my iPod for quite a while. 9/10
Kanye West-My Dark Twisted Fantasy
I hate Kanye West. I hate his ego. I hate his personality. I just hate him. However, I love his music. And let me tel you Kanye's new album My Dark Twisted Fantasy is his greatest work yet. He takes so many risks in this album and I applaud him for it, he shows he is top of the shelf hip-hop/rap. 9.5/10
letlive. is one of those bands you want to see go far. They bring so much to the scene of overplayed and unoriginal music that you would hate to see them fall short. Fake History has to be the best post-hardcore/hardcore/metal/screamo/rock album that has come in the recent years. This album takes any preconceptions of the scene and basically rams it up the asshole. letlive. please don't stop what you are doing.
My writing is bad, I'm trying to become a better writer and thinker. Hopefully by doing these mini-reviews I can work my way up to amatuer. Sorry for spelling errors also. The spell checker is not working and I am too lazy to read through this again and fix my mistakes.
Most of us come to this site to check out the news, reviews, and interviews (I did not mean to ryhme that...really.). There is something about hearing about the new happenings of their favorite band. I for one love hearing about my favorite bands releasing new songs, new album artwork,or just random videos. I seriously spend most of my "work" day on AP.net, and I think its such a great site.
