The new cd The End is not the End is one of my favorite albums of this year (if not my favorite). If anyone hasn't heard it yet I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

| The Rocket Summer Tour 9/30/08 Worcester MA |
Last night I went to the Rocket Summer show at the Palladium in Worcester and all I can say is Wow.
First the Morning Light came on. From the songs I did know (anything from the EP) They did a pretty good job. I'm not sure if I want to buy the full length though. Some of the more slow songs were just sort of boring.
Next was The Secret Handshake. Well, he knows how to get the crowd moving. I'm not really a big fan of his music but I still had a good time.
Phantom Planet put on a great show as usual. high energy and sounded great.
Now for The Rocket Summer. Bryce is one of the best live performers I have ever seen. Opening with Do You Feel was a great start. He played songs off all his full releases. With high energy the show really out did my expectations. The high point of the show however was when he came down onto the floor and played Goodbye Waves and Driveways. This was one the best acoustic performances I have ever heard at a concert. Being so close made it even better. With a few more songs he closed with the live version of So in this Hour, which of as good as ever.
The overall concert was very good but The Rocket Summer really was the highlight. The only complaint is I wish he played more songs, but I am pretty sure that wasn't up to him.
So if anyone has a date coming up and are on the fence of going I would HIGHLY recommend going. For such a cheap price it is certainly worth it to see one the best performances of the fall. | |

| Best disney channel singer? |
| So my sister recently got the Demi Lovato CD "Don't Forget" and it's surprisingly pretty good. Much much better then what I have heard from Miley and this girl can really belt it out too. The lyrics aren't even half bad. I think the album has leaked so they probably have it up on youtube already.
