| | "Just Another Alternative Music Webzine" |
Over the past few days I’ve been thinking of starting a small music website/webzine. I’ll admit if it was worth bothering with, so I thought I’d give it a shot and make something temporary to see how it goes for a few weeks/months.
If it goes well, it may grow and become something else, but who knows.
Nevertheless do me a favour and follow Play Crack The Sky Music*.
*The name will more than likely be temporary. | |

If you're a regular reader of this blog; which you're probably not, then you may know a few weeks back I departed a website called AlterThePress.com. Like I said at the time of the departure, I was thankful for the opportunity I was given on the site and wish it all the best for the future.
When I announced I was leaving ATP! (there was no mention of my departure on the site/Twitter/Facebook). I had a few people ask me what I was going to do next. Some asked if I was going to do a new site but I'm liking the new found free time I have. Some asked if I was going to continue writing, and thankfully I am.
I'm now contributing to three websites/publications; Stencil Magazine, UnderTheGunReview.net and RockLouder.co.uk. My contributions are going steady and isn't as demanding as my previous role.
In addition, after a short hiatus I'm back contributing to the weekly UK Music Round-Up again.
So there you have it, a few personal changes but I'm content and looking at moving forward.
Please feel free to follow/tweet @SeanReid86 and @SReidPortfolio.

| | So Long Alter The Press! |
With a heavy heart I must inform everyone that I am no longer part of Alter The Press.
I would like to thank all of those involved in ATP, both past and present. I would especially like to thank Jon Ableson for giving me the opportunity to be part of the site from day one, and for letting me help it grow to what it has become today, i wish the site all the best for the future.
I would also like to say thank you to all the bands, labels, PR companies, and anyone else I have worked with over the last three years. I look forward to working with you again in the future.
Yours Sincerely
Sean Reid | | Tags: goodbye, alter the press, |
