Of course when you're one of the biggest bands in the scene you are going to get all the attention when you release an album. Case and point today with Taking Back Sunday's newest effort "New Again". The band stated that the new album would be like "Tell All Your Friends" but heavier. That isn't what we got at all. But instead of me complaining about how much of a blunder "New Again" is I should talk about the real artist of the week. The Sounds. They also released a record today, "Crossing the Rubicon" which is leaps and bounds better than the album getting all the hype. On their third release The Sounds polish off their electro indie tunes with style. This is another perfect summer album. Between this and "Manners" I will have plenty of tunes to play as I watch the sun go down. Don't hesitate to grab this album. It will be a better investment than "New Again".
