One of my favorite blogs that I look forward to checking out everyday is Jessica Hoppers. She's a pretty well known punk feminist writer/rock critic/something like that.
Somewhat well known for her article in punkplanet on sexism in the scene back in 2003. Note to genre nazis: yeah some of the bands she associates with emo are totally not close to actual emo, but - hey, we didn't any better what to call it back then! And I'm sure she's aware of that now)
Good article. Made quite on impact on me when I read it back then and still does today. It's a must read.
