I'll level with you: going green is expensive. I'm on a fixed income, which is to say, no income. Have you seen how expensive organic potato chips are? It's also tough to "do my part", especially when I drive a Ford Explorer. But I'm knocking on wood as I type this because my car has been a workhorse needing very little attention throughout the years. Thank the lord, because I know bubkis about cars.
But anyway!
There's really only been two things I've done these past few years - other than trying to never use AC and making sure the lights are always off. They are: I never keep the water running when I brush my teeth, and I never leave anything plugged in if it doesn't have to be (phone charger is the biggest culprit.) These things I do because they are A.) Easy and B.) potential money savers. I admit it's not a lot, but right now, it's all I can muster.
