I don't know how you can hear a band like Kyte and not love them. And forgive the cliched nature of that opener, but it's truth outweighs any and all hackneyed expressions. Their sound is most often compared to that of Sigur Ros, and yeah, cool. Pretty good company, I'd say. But sometimes Sigur Ros take forever to make their point, and Kyte would rather condense the crescendos and climaxes into more taut frames. Tell me that doesn't sound exciting! (A**hole: "That doesn't sound exciting.")
Well anyways, this is one of the few bands that I feel has never written a bad song. I could listen to all of them. And I know it's summer and this is "mood music", but maybe it isn't. Maybe Science For The Living or Kyte are good for any occasion. I guess there's just one way for you to find out:
