After reading all the hype about Rdio, I did a free three-day trail and ended up getting the $5 a month subscription.
The program is simply fantastic. I had used Spotify a few months back when that sampler version of it was around in the US, and Rdio compares wonderfully, as they're incredibly similar.
The fact is, the cost is only $5 a month ($10 for mobile use) for unlimated streaming of thousands of records and discographies. All of the music is simply right there - just a click away. I highly recomeend this for everyone on this site; it's revolutionary.
Through Rdio in just a week, I've discovered many bands that I've always been meaning to listen to but just had never gotten around to hearing. In just a week I've finally discovered bands/artists including fun., Mute Math, Glassjaw, Converge, Mastodon, Copeland, etc. It's simply unbelievable.
