Mark Cuban writes a good blog on one of the major problems of Wall Street which highlights one of the major problems in "privatized" business in general.
If you are the CEO of a major public company, once you qualify for your golden parachute there is absolutely no reason not to throw the Hail Mary pass, and do high risk deals every chance you get.
As I sit here staring at my portfolio - there is one thing to remember (yes, I am going to politicize this) ... historically under Democratic Presidents - we all do better.
