Kind of Blue, every Beatles record, anything Elvis Costello but particularly Blood & Chocolate, Full Moon Fever, Is This It? Up the Bracket, Either/Or, the Life Pursuit, Blackened Sky, Kigns & Queens, Grace, Blue Trane, Bleed American, all Zep & Stones, Showbiz (and indeed every Muse record), Boxer, Be Human, Beggars, Doolittle, OK Comp, Dookie, Antics, Full Collapse, Aha Shake Heartbreak, Crash, Humbug, Ambulance LTD, the Stranger, and recently, the Winter of Mixed Drinks.

Favorite Songs

Too many to mention. Lyrically, probably Billy Joel's Vienna or the Libertines' Good Old Days. More recently, Frightened Rabbit's Things blew me away. Cat Steven's cut of The First Cut is the Deepest. Musically, super cliche but gotta be YYZ or Tal Farlow's 400bpm version of Cherokee.

Favorite Bands

Way too many to mention. I don't hole myself into any one genre. I enjoy everything from Miles Davis to the Beatles to Talib Kweli to Elliott Smith to Deftones to Jim Croce and James Taylor to Kelly Clarkson to Los Campesinos...I will literally listen to anything as long as it catches my ear. My "favorite" artists list is probably hundreds long haha.

Favorite Books

Classic British and French literature, some contemporary American lit--Cormac McCarthy particularly.

Favorite Movies

I worked at a cinema for five years, I have far too many favorites. Baby Genuises was a high point. Jokes.

Favorite TV Shows

Dexter, 24, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, The Office, 30 Rock, Mad Men, House, the Colbert Report, I miss Conan :(
