After countless hours of working on ideas and concepts We, The Drowned. was born. Started in a small home studio, in Buffalo, NY known simply as 'Le Chateau', Jeordan Hill began working on his project's debut EP. Pulling from a myriad of influences like Bjork, Explosions In The Sky, Circa Survive, & Our Lady Peace; something real and from the heart was created. After having spent 4 weeks writing & arranging the music, independently producing & recording , and finally mastering the tracks We, The Drowned. walked away with a 5 song EP that felt real, embodied multiple genres, and had a concrete and conclusive story line. When asked about the record Jeordan Hill said, "I feel like too many bands are afraid of failure, so they're afraid to experiment. I refused to be confined to anyone else's standards of what is 'good music.' All I wanted to do is make an honest record, and the best way I could think of doing that would be to make a concept record. I could pour all of my demons and heart into this through the characters, while staying cohesive, and none would be the wiser, I felt. My advice to any musician or band is to be yourself, it's worth it in the end."
