Biography Gerry grew up in New York City and stood out as an amazing guitarist and performer in several rock bands. His inspirations included but not limited to Dave Grohl and Butch walker.
Gerry's Projects include New York-based post-hardcore and alt-rock quintet founded in 2003 by producer Tomas Costanza (Diffuser) on bass and featuring Gerry as guitarist. At that time Gerry was the youngest band member, proving that talent defies age.
They released a full length album Air Raid Romance on Indianola Records and shot a video for the single "Broken". The album earning amazing reviews from many critics.
They were a powerful live act touring the country. They earned the reputation as "the force to be reckoned with." Gerry departed from the band in 2005 but he remained on good terms with all the members of the band.
As the final piece to the puzzle in 2006 Gerry solidified New Jersey/New York based rock band The Penny Royals, by joining them as lead guitarist. The band recorded their debut record with producers Mike Plotnikoff (Buckcherry, Daughtry, All American Rejects) and Igor Khoroshev. The lead track “White Noise” is co-written by Mitch Allan (Daughtry, Anberlin).
The Pennyroyals as featured on Fearless Records, Kings of A&R, Rock it Out, Live@ Rock 45 are described as raw yet refined, explosive but melodic, dark and vitally decadent. The quartet delivers powerful choruses that include big rock hooks, searing guitars, and strong vocal harmonies over a solid rhythm section. Know for their live show, The Pennyroyals always commit to their audience with a boundless energy, attitude, and heart in every performance.
Switching between diverse tempos and melodies, the band's new material is more melodic, yet edgier than ever... A rock band sonically fused with hard driving guitar licks, melodic vocal hooks, harmonies, honest lyrics, and a biting alternative edge.
