yeah DTBM2 was better than what i was expecting. i love the new a lot like birds stuff, so i still get to hear kurt in that style :)

and life's been good! trying to find a job, it's so hard around here :/
i just became the screamer in a mathcore/indiecore band, and i've been making electronic music, so that's been consuming my time

i loved the new DIOYY album a lot. it's different from their debut, but the band has progressed a lot. i also submitted a review for it so im waiting for that to be posted.

and as for dance gavin dance, i liked the album alot, but it's not my favorite. their self titled is my favorite (its sooo catchy), and happiness is musical gold, but i do like johnny craig's vocals quite a bit. he's not the song writer kurt travis is though, but jon mess was easily my favorite on the new album. his screams/odd lyrics are simply amazing

anyways, I talked to Zac on facebook and he says he doesnt know if the band with Kurt will work out, shit sucks. He says it might later but for now its a doozie. Im guessing its cause Kurt decided to join Alot Like Birds. Oh well..

I don't think they are.. I actually saw some of the Lower D dudes (as well as Tanner from Chiodos, Mike from PTV, and Nick from DRUGS) eating together at my favorite sushi place in SD and they were all talking about upcoming tours from what I heard.

The new DGD track is alright. Mess is fucking awesome but Craig sounds like his voice is deteriorating, which is funny given that Will was saying that about Kurt's voice. I cant help but imagine how awesome Kurt would have sounded on Heat Seeking Ghost.. it bums me out. The deathstar line up was the best and if there was any way to get that line up back, I would be insanely happy, but alas..

the last show i went to was last weekend, it was circa survive and coheed & cambria
a month ago i saw drop dead gorgeous, sky eats airplane, sleeping with sirens
and next week i'll be seeing a skylit drive, from first to last

That would be weird since Good Health (Zac from ex-DGD) put out an album with the same title "Are you as excited about me as I am?". I hope we get a new record this year from DGD!!! I could have sworn I read somewhere that they were heading to the studio this summer to record. Maybe i am wrong?

I also thought the other day that I am pretty surprised Kurt doesn't have a solo project... shinfo, I know. But it was a random thought haha.
