I don't know the second album you mentioned, but I agree it has the same tone as Deja Entendu. I haven't listened to that Brand New album for a while, I should. The lyrics are great. Especially Jaws Theme Swimming.

Yeah, I have yet to find another album that is quite like it with the way the vocals are and how it's really drawn out.

Haha nice to meet you too. Voices is an amazing album. I wish they had not broken up because a follow up to that album would have been great.
