i like nature. at least, i like camping at least once a month. i've only lived in major metropolitan areas my whole life, so i imagine there will be a lot of adjusting to do when moving to alaska. and my very least favourite thing about california is how fucking rude all the people here are! so nice people is a plus. i'm a little worried because i've lived in florida for 7 years, houston, tx for 13 and now southern california. i've never seen snow in my life, and now i'm moving to alaska? hahah i think i will have to hibernate from september through june.
i heard about the annual dividend thing recently when corresponding with a UAF professor. that's pretty neat. i've never heard of a state that pays you to live there, hahah.

does it take forever for mail to get to you from the lower 48? or do you have any experience with that?

do you like it there? i know this is all random, haha. my boyfriend is going to go to school in fairbanks when he gets out of the marine corps and i'm probably going to go with him, and obviously i don't know many people in/from alaska.

Huh, I've only ever been to Ecuador a few times, Mexico, The Bahamas, and a bunch of places in the States.
