Just wanted to tell you I am a massive fan of Paper Rival. Dialog is superb. I just found about Patrick's 'Field Days' so I'm pretty stoked to listen to that. Also what is happening with Silk Teeth? If anything? Hope you're well.

i saw you guys when you were still called Keating (along with Circa Survive, Portugal. the Man and TREOS)... i was hooked from the intro of "Alabama" until the end of your set... that "Thieves" EP is still one of my favorites to date.

I just checked out your band on myspace, really great stuff, particularly enjoyed pacing the cage.

Well this is awkward. In responding to a post you made, I noticed you were a "band member." Normally, when I make this observation I am inclined to notice what band, and whether or not I agreed with the post you made, which then often finds me making some derogatory comment about the band the person is in. This is what happened. I said to myself, who the fuck are Paper Rivals? So I took the ten seconds, and hopped over to MySpace to give you the allotted momentary listen . Traditionally, this yields some cookie-cutter pop, or otherwise slandered music that you'd expect to find floating about Myspace and AP.net. However (reason I am writing this) I found no such reprehensible auditory slander, in fact, just the opposite. I don't remember the first song I heard, but I was instanty impressed. (It had a string accompaniment.) I came to find, you have already won extensive praise, and am sure you hear shit like this all the time. I just wanted to tell you two things: I hope that one day you return to making music, because "Bluebird," and "Payable to Finder," are brilliant. I have been a musician for 15+ years, and am not simpliy baking your potatoe/steaming your clams. Secondly, if you ever find yourself in San Francisco or Los Angeles, ( I go to school in SF, but live in LA) let me know. A lager on me, and a warm bed to sleep. Truly brilliant stuff man, I can not remove myself from Dialog, much to your credit. Are you currently working on anything? Sorry to rant, cheers mate, have a happy holidays.
