12:53 PM on 01/14/09 | Haha, yes, it makes sense. And I read much better books when I was 14 than I do now. I tore through old classics at 14 and now, at the age of 19, I read cliche thrillers and horror novels. It's odd. | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |

12:30 PM on 01/06/09 | I know this is almost three months late, but i'm finally responding to your question about the book. It didn't really ruin my life, but at the time I read it (when I was 14), it really got to me and put what I believed but never really faced into words. Remember the scene after Philip's old friend passed away, when he was thinking to himself, describing life as inconsequential, a stream flowing from nothingness and into nothingness, etc. etc.? It made me depressed, really depressed, for a while. As I said, I had always believed it but never gave it any mind. I was also yound and stupid. And that is the story. Sorry it's so long. | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |

06:13 PM on 04/02/08 | i thought i had more street cred for people to know i don't make napoleon TNT references.
i think pun or 'play on words' would work better then ironic bad choice of words on my part.
so you think he is really awesome and its not a play on words because napoleon was short in height but big in character? | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |

09:02 PM on 03/31/08 | zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....sorry i dosed off there for a minute.
boring. just kidding, what ever your cup of tea is. plus it doesn't matter all ten of his books have been optioned for movies(some even before they were released on paper) so im sure you'll expierence his words at some point or another.
"napaleon's biggest fan" i hope that is supposed to be as ironic as i think it is. | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |

07:48 PM on 03/31/08 | i suppose it was taking poop a little out of context, but that is the whole chapter and i just giggled and giggled. but if you dont read it...its going to be your loss. its not a "lost boys" type of vampire story. i won't push this book on you but if you read books at all (or appreciate literature) you have to attempt to read one of his books. the other one i read was "a dirty job" and i read it cover to cover. but i also hear that "lamb" is good. i think its a knock on religion if your cool with that (i am) | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |
