Just want to take a minute and thank Former Planets for sponsoring last week's episode of the AbsolutePunk Podcast. Hopefully you listened and enjoyed the song clip of "Alcatraz" we played. If you're not listening to the podcast (shame on you!) check them out on Bandcamp.
Former Planet's debut self-titled full length album was independently released on June 6th, 2015 to iTunes, AmazonMP3 and major digital retailers. Former Planets is a 5-piece group from Gainesville, FL that combines the intensity of early 2000's Taking Back Sunday and Brand New with the hooks of 90's alternative pop-rock bands like Gin Blossoms and Third Eye Blind.

The band is also playing a ten year anniversary show tomorrow if you live in New York.
