After their Riot Fest performances this past weekend, but New Found Glory and Say Anything have added Chicago dates to their upcoming tours. New Found Glory will be playing the House of Blues on 10/25 and Say Anything will be playing there as well on 12/09.
Cymbals Eat Guitars have just announced a slew of new tour dates, including jumping on tour with Brand New for their string of dates in October. You can find all of their upcoming shows along with the band's new music video for "Laramie" (via Noisey) in the replies. If you haven't checked out their new album, LOSE, yet, I can't recommend it enough.
Kate Bush played her first show in 35 years the other night. Stereogum has a great rundown of what went down. Looks like some photos and videos even emerged despite Kate's plea for no cameras. A video of "Among Angels" can be found in the replies.
So much for watching bands play! To celebrate its tenth year in Chicago (Sept. 12-14), Riot Fest organizers have moved the festival to the northern section of Humdoldt Park, with an expanded footprint, more stages and more rides. The full press release is in the replies and you can find me playing mini-golf all weekend next month. Also, tickets are still on sale.
Due to Austin having unforeseen health issues we're unfortunately not going to be able to play the first few festivals of our upcoming tour in Europe while he rests up. This will include our scheduled appearances at Summer Breeze today, Pukkelpop on Friday and Elb-Riot and X-Rockest this weekend. We apologize to our fans in Belgium and Germany who were attending these shows but we will be back soon to make up for this. We are going to be resuming our tour on August 19th in Berlin and all other upcoming shows including Reading and Leeds Festivals are unaffected.
