The Hollywood Reporter has an article on Andrew McMahon (Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate) where he discusses his upcoming album and his work with the cancelled TV series, Smash, and his subsequent Emmy nomination.
"I won't lie, it's not a fear-based pressure, because I'm really excited and I'm really content in the work that I'm doing right now," he continues. "But there is a sense for me right now that I have to make this next thing my calling card. It's going to be my first full-length under my name, and I want it to be my best record. I'm pretty hell-bent on it being so."
Jack's Mannequin have announced a new DVD/CD of their final show entitled, Live From The El Ray. The release features 14 tracks from band's last performance from last November. All proceeds are going to Andrew's Dear Jack Foundation. The release date is June 25th, but you can pre-order it on Andrew's webstore. You can find the track listing below and the album artwork in the replies.

I have spent many nights in terminals like this one; waiting on a trains or planes, dreaming of final destinations. Tonight is different though. A broad leather chair with wooden arms, one of many in LA’s union station, holds me close as I type these words. I am eager for the tracks and my wife on the other side, but I am glad to be here for now, if only for a moment.
