Somehow, Anthony Green of Circa Survive cracked one of his ribs which forced the band to cancel their show in Detroit last night. After a few days of rest, the band plans on continuing forward and finishing the tour as planned. All of us here at AP.net send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Anthony.

Greetings beautiful Circa fans,
Today is a bittersweet day. We are releasing what we feel to be our best record to date and could not be more proud & excited to share it with you all. That is the sweet part. Unfortunately as we stated previously there were some unexpected issues on the manufacturing end and due to even further error on the part of the plant, all physical orders are in a state of delay.

At last night's CD release show for Circa Survive's new album, Violent Waves, the band performed "The Lottery" with Geoff Rickly of Thursday. You can watch the video in the replies. Don't forget you can stream and pre-order the new album on the band's website as well.

Starting tomorrow, Circa Survive will be posting a photo on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram representing each of the 11 songs on Violent Waves. But the band wants you to be a part of this too. Take a photo on Instagram every day using the hashtag #violentwaves. Add a second hashtag for the specific song your photo represents (listed in the replies). Then the band is going to take all your submissions and design a limited edition mosaic poster of the earth on the cover of Violent Waves, made entirely of your photos.

Anthony Green has confirmed via a Twitter response that Geoff Rickly (Thursday) contributes guest vocals to the song "The Lottery" on their new album.

The Circa Survive tour with support from Touche Amore, Balance and Composure and O'Brother that we posted about earlier has been announced on Circa Survive's Facebook page. The tour weaves across the U.S. from Sept. 13 to Oct. 26. All the dates are in the replies.

A few venues have been announcing information about Circa Survive headlining shows with Touche Amore, Balance and Composure and O'Brother as support. It's being dubbed the "Violent Waves" tour, so we're expecting an announcement later today in accordance with what Circa was teasing last week. We'll have a news post with all the information when we hear something.

Circa Survive is teasing that "Violent Waves" are coming this Monday, along with a teaser image. Could it be an album announcement? A new song? Whatever it is, you can bet we'll post it on Monday.
