I guess although I’ve always dealt in fantasy and metaphor when I came to writing, that meant the songs this time were dealing much more in reality. Ceremonials was so fixated on death and water, and the idea of escape or transcendence through death, but the new album became about trying to learn how live, and how to love in the world rather than trying to escape from it. Which is frightening because...
"We are about to start work on our album in March and we should have it out in October - that is the plan," he revealed. "This is definitely going happen, we will have an album out for this year for sure, but it will be towards October, November latest."

Florence + The Machine hosted a listening party for the new album in a London restaurant last night. Songs such as "Ship To Wreck", "Caught", "Delilah" and "What Kind Of Man" were premiered to a crowd of family and friends and following a few announced slots of European festivals this summer the group is also one of the favourites to headline this year's Glastonbury.
