Earlier that week, the band sat down with a list of tech-inspired love stories submitted to them via Twitter, and in a matter of hours, turned portions of those submissions into a bonafide indie love song. Still, they only had a short amount of time to master their creation and make any last minute tweaks before performing it live.
That’s where you, our lovely Mashable audience, come in. We’re asking you to tweet us a technology love story in 140 characters. Interpret that however you'd like, whether you envision two robots falling in love or simply a story about why you heart your tech. It's up to you.
Update: Huge thank you to the band and everyone for hanging out. The chat has now ended.
We'd like to welcome Good Old War to the website to chat today about their new album Broken Into Better Shape, which was released today. Hit the replies to chat with the guys about that, their upcoming tour, plans for the future, etc. You can also find our interview with them from earlier today here.
We recently spoke with Good Old War about their new album Broken Into Better Shape, which is officially out today. Don't forget the band will be chatting on the website tonight at 8pm EST.
We’re more inspired to write while we’re down, but on the other hand we never can leave it at that. We’re not the type of people that can just leave it at that. It’s like, we can get out of this, you know? By the time you’re done writing a song, you feel better, and that’s the whole idea. You can tell the story of writing the song with the song.
Good Old War will release their new album, Broken Into Better Shape, on June 30th via Nettwerk. You can stream the group's fantastic new single called "Tell Me What You Want From Me" over on The Wallstreet Journal.
