San Diego, California's Sledding With Tigers have announced plans to release their debut album A Necessary Bummer on Antique Records on April 15, 2014. Today the band shared the song “Not So Body Posi After All” from the upcoming full-length via PropertyOfZack.

La Dispute is auctioning off three test press copies of the band's utterly amazing new record, Rooms of the House. The band will be donating all the money to charity - one test press designated for one of the charities and details can be found in the replies. Rooms of the House hits stores on March 18th.
Sweet Cobra will release their new album, Earth, this summer on a label still to be determined. It was recorded by Matt Talbot (Hum) and Kurt Ballou (Converge). The band is also announcing a series of smaller releases, including a split with Young Widows called Live at Three Floyds that will release in April and a split with Get Rad that will release later this month. The band is also doing a quick tour - dates are below.
Mansions’ debut full-length, New Best Friends – which is 5 years old today – is being reissued via Bad Timing Records with alternative artwork designed by frontman Chris Browder. The label is also releasing a never-before-pressed 7” with “The Biggest Lie” and “Tangerine,” two songs that came on a promo EP before NBF’s original release. The release date is tomorrow, March 4, and copies will go on sale at 1pm EST tomorrow as well. The vinyl is limited to 500 units – it’s long been out of print – with 300 on “dirty snow” (white with black color-in-color, see the photo) and 200 on black with white haze.
The Horrors will release their new alum Luminous on May 5th via XL Recordings. A new track titled "I See You" will be premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show tonight but in the meantime you can check out the artwork in the replies.

There's good news and the bad news. We've been quite quiet for a short while but not slacking. The last few months have been spent writing, recording, then rewriting and rerecording demos for a load of new songs. This brings us onto the good news. We're going into the studio next week to record some of these songs which we'll be releasing as an EP with the beautiful people at Beach Community (UK) and Uncle M Records (GER). Cheap Girls will release their fourth LP, Famous Graves, on May 13 via Xtra Mile Recordings. This is the first Xtra Mile international release (they're a UK-based label). The first single from the album, "Knock Me Over," can be streamed on A.V. Club or in the replies, and the band's tour dates supporting Against Me! and The Hold Steady are in the replies as well.
Jaye Jayle (Evan Patterson of Young Widows) will release a new 7" titled The Road To New Mexico on March 4th via Hawthorne Street Records. Check out the title track in the replies. This 7" single is part of a series, with each record containing a couple of songs from an eleven song album. In support of the upcoming release, Patterson has announced an upcoming release show on this Friday, February 21st at 8AM in Chicago. If you like what you hear, be sure to pre-order it.
Recently formed rock group Get Involved!, featuring Tucker Rule of Thursday, Todd Weinstock of Glassjaw, Brian DeNeeve of From Autumn to Ashes, Marcus Russell Price on bass, and vocalist Derrick Karg-Zamudio are releasing their Ross Robinson produced EP Silk Cuts via New Jersey based MorseCode Recordings which will be available digitally on March 3rd 2014.

Green or Blue have finally released their new album, A Shot Below The Moon via Bandcamp. The album was produced by Mike Watts at Vudu Studios (As Tall As Lions, The Dear Hunter, As Cities Burn, Emanuel) and was funded via Kickstarter. This is definitely worth checking out.
Animal Style Records owner Matt Medina got married last month and made a 7" consisting of four cover songs to commemorate the occasion. Now, that 7" is available on Bandcamp for $4, and all proceeds will go to FreedomToMarry.org.
