Eagles In Drag released their debut EP today and on a limited run of 10” vinyl via EightyOneTwentyThree. The project, constructed by The Maine frontman John O’Callaghan initially back in 2012, includes his fellow bandmate from The Maine; Jared Monaco. The lineup is rounded out by Trey Nickelsen, Ryan Gose (This Century), and Eric Halvorsen (ex-A Rocket To The Moon). It can be streamed in the replies.

Julia Brownare currently in the process of recording their follow-up to last year's fantastic mini-LP To Be Close to You. No word on a release date or title yet, but the album is "maybe halfway finished." Unlike the band's previous work--including as Teen Suicide, which included mostly the same people--this album is not being recorded in a lo-fi fashion and it will be significantly longer than previous releases. La Dispute is auctioning off three test press copies of the band's utterly amazing new record, Rooms of the House. The band will be donating all the money to charity - one test press designated for one of the charities and details can be found in the replies. Rooms of the House hits stores on March 18th.
Sweet Cobra will release their new album, Earth, this summer on a label still to be determined. It was recorded by Matt Talbot (Hum) and Kurt Ballou (Converge). The band is also announcing a series of smaller releases, including a split with Young Widows called Live at Three Floyds that will release in April and a split with Get Rad that will release later this month. The band is also doing a quick tour - dates are below.
Mansions’ debut full-length, New Best Friends – which is 5 years old today – is being reissued via Bad Timing Records with alternative artwork designed by frontman Chris Browder. The label is also releasing a never-before-pressed 7” with “The Biggest Lie” and “Tangerine,” two songs that came on a promo EP before NBF’s original release. The release date is tomorrow, March 4, and copies will go on sale at 1pm EST tomorrow as well. The vinyl is limited to 500 units – it’s long been out of print – with 300 on “dirty snow” (white with black color-in-color, see the photo) and 200 on black with white haze.
The Horrors will release their new alum Luminous on May 5th via XL Recordings. A new track titled "I See You" will be premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show tonight but in the meantime you can check out the artwork in the replies.

Cheap Girls will release their fourth LP, Famous Graves, on May 13 via Xtra Mile Recordings. This is the first Xtra Mile international release (they're a UK-based label).
