Neon Trees are currently in the studio working on their new album, which is set to be released early-to-mid 2012. You can see pictures of them in their practice space here. The band's new single, "Everybody Talks," will go to radio on January 10th.
Fugazi Live Series, an online archive of past Fugazi shows and recordings, has been officially launched. The band will release 130 concert downloads (100 new shows, and the 30 shows released on the out-of-print Fugazi Live Series CDs), along with additional photos, flyers, and downloads until the archive is complete. To keep with the band's DIY ethic, the suggested fee is $5 or set your own price.
Spotify has introduced a platform for developers, and websites, to make apps for their music player. Looks like we'll have to figure out a way to put some AP.net news and recommendations in your Spotify player before too long.
