Coheed and Cambria's first single and video from The Afterman: Ascension will be an 8-minute track called "Domino: The Destitute," as per a new interview with Rolling Stone.
Coheed and Cambria have posted a teaser video announcing a double album release with Volume One, entitled The Afterman: Ascension, dropping October 9th and Volume Two, The Afterman: Descension, landing February of next year.
A deluxe version of the album will include a hardcover, song-by-song coffee-table book. Full press release with much more info here.
Claudio Sanchez, lead singer of progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria and Evil Ink Comics have partnered with Stephen Levinson's Leverage Productions (Boardwalk Empire, Entourage, Contraband) and Mark Wahlberg to develop their graphic novel series The Amory Wars into a live-action feature film.
